And the Dual Shock 2 controller. Black is nice, isn't it?     More details on the ports. Here is proof it is backward compatible, both for Memory Cards and controllers. Down at the left we have two USB and an i.Link (Firewire or IEEE 1394) port. Will come in  handy for sure! Notice the PS logo on the disc tray.         It even stands up on the side! Should fit anywhere. Notice the PS logo again, still aligned  perfectly. So you can twist it! Nice touch, Sony! The back of the machine reveals the Digital Out, the AV out and the PC Card slot (Type III). The Power switch is also in the back, which can actually turn out to be a hassle, if you plan to seat the PS2 in your AV rack. No biggie, though.   Although it is kinda hard to see, here is an added bonus: Dolby Digital, DTS and the DVD Video logo! Proof it is a full fledged DVD player, even with Digital Out for you digital surround setup! Excellent! All in all a beautiful machine. Thanks for sticking with PlayStation 2, Sony!
