ASCII Control Pad
Reviewed by Nils Jacobsen

Initial Impressions
Wow, a controller for less than $20!! For those who need a second controller, this might be what you are looking for. All the functionality of the original Sony controller, just cheaper and with a longer cord. (7 feet)
Playing the Games
Using this controller really shows off the advantages of having a directional pad all on top, and not partly hidden like the Sony one. Moves/Combos are much easier to pull off. The controller is a bit smaller than the average, and will probably play better among the yonger crowd. While I find the buttons on top a bit on the small side, my 10-year old son is perfectly happy with it.
Quality/Durability
As always, ASCII = quality. This controller is no exception. Haven't been any problems with it so far. The only thing I would note is that sometimes when playing Tekken, pulling off the moves that requires two buttons is a bit frustrating. Seems like the buttons, when pressed simultaneousely, won't depress that easily. Oh well, for some reason, it only happens when I play Tekken, not when my son does...
Conclusion
A great second controller for children or smaller hands. At $19.99 it is as cheap as it gets, without sacrificing quality.
