ASCII Specialized Joystick
Review from the Net
At first, I didn't want to get a stick. But the guy in front of me at the store got the last extra control pad. There were only Ascii Sticks left, and I got one rather than wait 2 weeks for another pad. The thing that had turned me off of sticks were the SNES and other sticks. Moving the stick on those would move the entire base, and you would end up having to lean your arms on the base to keep it in place. The Ascii stick has a definite base weight. You can keep it on your lap and have total control of the stick. Also, the stick is tighter than other sticks I have seen, so you don't have to exaggerate your movements. The asciiware stick is the first I have seen that actually makes doing special moves in fighting games easier! What I don't like about the stick is that the start and select buttons are tiny, and off on the side and hard to find. I don't have an opinon on the turbo buttons since they are useless in TohShinDen (a breathtakingly amazing game). All in all, the Ascii Stick is most definitely worth the $20 extra more than another pad.
