About these pages.....

How are these page maintained etc.?

These pages are mostly done from my home office via a PPP connection to vidgames.com. I'm running Windows 95, and I'm connected via a 28.8 line. I'm running on a Gateway 2000 Pentium 150, with 32MB of RAM, a 730MB and a 1.2GB harddrive and a Stealth 64 PCI 2MB VRAM graphics card. I'm running 1152x864 in 65K colors, while the CD-ROM most of the time is playing pretty mellow music. I'm not using HotMetal or any fancy editor for my pages, just plain old Windows Write. I wish there was a Winsock based editor, but oh well...

What you should run on!

It doesn't matter, of course, what kind of hardware you are using to access this page. But there are two things you should do:

1. Always run the latest version of Internet Explorer, Netscape or whatever. Unless you're running a compliant client, this page will sometimes look really messed up! (I recommend using Netscape, since this page is set up using it.)

2. If you can, make sure you are using a setup wich allows you to show more than 256 colors on screen at once. 32K, 65K or even True Color. These pages, and especially the screenshots will look much nicer! (1024x768x65K is what I recommend... :-)

Summary: To get the most out of these pages use Netscape in at least 32K colors! (These pages are Netscape optimized if you will..)
