E3 Impressions

Hi everyone,
I just got back from E3 and I just thought I'd share my thoughts on it with everyone. Just a quick history, I've been playing videogames since the days of the 2600 and this was the first time I've been able to go to E3. I currently own a PSX (which I bought the first week it was available) and N64 (which I got as a gift.) I like the Saturn and I think its a good machine but I can live without Sega's arcade translation which are the best reason to own a Saturn. Anyway here's my take on Day 1 of E3.

Capcom
I was shocked at the size of the show. I expected it to be big but it was even bigger then I anticipated. I got to the Capcom booth first. It was well done. The center piece of the booth seemed to be Resident Evil 2. There were Full Scale Zombie dogs and Policemen hanging out of a small mock police station. Both the PSX and Saturn versions of MSH were on display. I thought the PSX version had a good deal of slowdown but then when I looked at the arcade version the PSX seemed fairly well done. The Saturn version looked good but the Machine was locked up so I don't know if it used the Ram Cart. The Street Fighter Collection looked good. In its catalogue it listed both DS 3 and SF vs Xmen as coming for both the PSX and Saturn. Nothing about an N64 version that has been rumored although its possible I just missed it. Breath of Fire 3 is only listed for the PSX.

Konami
They had a cool booth. Metal Gear Solid looks absolutely amazing. It is now the game I am most looking forward to. Tomorrow they are supposed to unveil a new video of it. I can't wait. Nothing new on Dracula 3-D it looked to be the same footage from the Tokyo Game Show. No Saturn stuff at all. In the Zone 98 is in the works for the n64 but they only had a few models up and running on tape. Mystical Ninja was there for the N64 but I didn't get to play it today. They gave away T-Shirts and had a bunch of other giveaways.

Fox Interactive
Croc looks excellent. Very Mario 64 like. Aliens Vs. Predator looked good. Unfortunely its been pushed back again until early next year. Both of these are coming for both the PSX and Saturn. Hopefully I'll play AVP tomorrow.

Midway
had a huge booth with Plenty of games. MK Mythokogies wasn't very good on either the PSX or N64. It seemed like a real early version though. Maximum Force looked like a good conversion from the Arcade. Quake 64 looked good but seemed like a real early version. You used the control stick to aim and the D-pad to move around. Kind of confusing at first. Rampage World Tour was good fun for the PSX. It seems like they should do it for the N64 so you could play 3 player without a multitap but I guess they aren't sure how it will sell.Mace and San Fransico Rush both looked great on the N64 but the PSX version were very early and very bad so far.

Eidos
They were blaring U2, I guess since Lara Croft it part of U2's tour. TR2 looked great. I'm really excited about it. Looks like there will be more human enemies and underwater harpoons. Fighting Force looked like Final Fight in 3D but I didn't get to play it hopefully I'll get to it tomorrow. TR2 ran faster than TR1 but I think it could have been done on the Saturn without too much of a problem. Sony made a smart move buying the exclusive.

Namco
Had a large booth. Time Crisis was an excellent conversion. Its my favorite arcade game so I can't wait for the home version. Ace Combat 2 and Treasures of the Deep looked good too. Didn't get to play either of them though.

EA
had a huge booth. Mot much new on ths sports front was on display. I didn't see Madden 98. The college football and college basketball looked cool though. Nuclear Strike looks good, you can get into tanks and other vechiles now. Nascar 98 looked good.

Psygnosis
Had a very cool booth including a moving Wipeout XL. Some of the new PSX games like Colony Wars look very good. F1 '98 looks great.

Sega
Last Bronx looks good. Touring Car Championship looked great with a good framerate and very little pop-up. Sonic Jam looked good. Sonic R looked okay, it is a 3-D Sonic racing game. Quake and Duke Nukem looked like excellent ports. The sports lineup couldn't campare to Sony's. The number and quality of the third party games is begging to drop. They didn't have a bad showing but there was no sign on VF3 which is what they really need. Overall I think they probbly had the worst showing of the Big 3. Not because the games were poor but simply because to compete I thought they'd need to blow us away with a great version of VF3 or with a new 3-D Sonic and they didn't show us either of those things, or if they did I missed them somehow.

Nintendo
Banjo-Kazookie looks like it will be an excellent game. Rare's other new game, Conker's, may be good but its way too kiddish for me, even more so then B-K. Goldeneye looks promising. MLB baseball was good motion capture but nothing revolutionary. Top Gear Rally was disappointing. It seemed slow to me, it was cool to be able to go over almost all of the terrain. SFR seems to be the best racing game coming for the N64. Mission Impossible looks amazing on tape as does Zelda 64. F-Zero, on tape, was not as impressive as I though it was going to be even running at 60 FPS. At this early stage in development Wipeout XL blows it away visually. Overall a good showing with some great games at the top of the lineup but still an overall lack of choice.

Sony
My vote for the best of the show. Square games galore, FF7, Bushido Blade, FF tatics and another RPG I can't think of. The Sports line up looks great. I think Gameday 98 with its polygon players looks fantastic. They seemed to have learned thier lesson in getting games out on time as Gameday is sceduled for Sept 4th. It's far into development. The Cart racing game is good. Amored Core seems like a VO killer especially with a choice of link or split screen. CB2 seems like more of the same tired gamplay. Blasto looks promising s far with the right balance of humor and gameplay. Cool Boarders 2 seems like a solid sequel. The only disappointments at Sony were that there were no analog pad anywhere, (forcing me to wonder if the rumor about the Nintendo law suit is true) that Spawn wasn't playable, no video of the Tekken 3 conversion and finally no Tobal 2. We are getting Bushido Blade but were not getting Tobal.

The excellent first party games and great 3rd party support means to me that the PSX is the best choice for now. The N64 has several games that are better graphically but the PSX has so many great games coming in each category that I give them the nod.

[ed: day two]

Konami
I'm putting this first because they had the game of the show. I agree with Next Generation, Metal Gear Solid is the game to beat. It is truly amazing. There are so many things to talk about. It was only on video but it looked incredible. There are so many cool features. There is a binocular option that lets you zoom in with a very cool display view. When you re outside in the snow you can see the enemy's frozen breath coming from their mouths. You can sneak through the ventilation system. As you run out of ammo Snake drops the old clip pulls a new one from his belt and slams it in beautifully. There is a Predator like enemy who blends into the background like the Predator does when it cloaks itself. The searchlights track you as you run. One incrediable scene featured Snake setting up exlosives all over a building and triggering them causing them to all go off in a cool domino effect killing a number of bad guys in the process. Instead of just killing everyone though you can sneak up behind them and just knock them out. I am looking forward to this game more than I have looked forward to any other game ever.

Acclaim
Extreme G (N64) I read on someones site that this game looks like a mix Wipeout XL with the vechicles from Tron. I think this is a good description. Some of the Bikes look exactly like the vechicles from Tron. Control was a little tight but the sensation of speed was good. Only complaint is the fog used to hide pop up. The backgrounds are not as detailed as Wipeouts but it is a worthy competitor. (At this stage however I give the nod to Wipeout.)

QB Club 98 (N64 and PSX) They haven't demoed either version so there is no way to compare the two. The only stuff they've shown is video from the N64 version and it looks very good. A step up visually from the crappy sports games Acclaims done in the past.

NHL Breakway 98 (N64 and PSX) Excellent motion capture. Can't really compare to NHL Powerplay because that's behind close doors. I didn't play it so I can't comment on control or AI.

Batman and Robin (PSX and possibly N64) It looks pretty good. I'm not sure how well the finished product will play but Batman looks fantastic. I don't think the N64 versions offical but I overheard an Acclaim offical telling an older bigshot that an N64 version is in the works. (Don't get upset if it doesn't happen its just what I overheard the Acclaim guy say.)

Forsaken (PSX) A graphically stunning variation on Descent. I was really surprised at how good this game looked. I'm not so sure if I'd really sit through the whole game though. I never really got into Decent.

Midway
San Francisco Rush (N64 and PSX) The N64 version has a fantastic frame rate and looks to be a great conversion. Someone asked me how bad the PSX version looked so I went back to have another look. Apparently Midway decided that the conversion looked bad too because they pulled the tape they had been running. It was a real early version but it looked bad. The only bad part on the N64 version was the music which was pretty bad from what I could make out. That could have been affected by the crazy amount of noise going on but I doubt it.

Psygnosis
F1-98 (PSX) Hi res mode adds to the game. It looks very nice. I didn't see the split screen mode in action.

G Police (PSX) One of the most graphically impressive games at the show. One of the designers talked me through it. It looks and plays incrediably well. An amazing feat with the lack of ram on the playstation. The only thing which needs work is that they need to push back the area of darkness that covers the horizon. The city design is heavily influnced by Blade Runner (according to the rep) and it looks fantastic. I'm really looking forward to this one.

Capcom
D & D collection (PSX and Saturn?) I went back to look for it because some one asked me about it but it wasn't being shown. I asked someone and they said it would be out in the fall. I'm doubtful though because it wasn't being shown.

EA
I went back to look for their major sports games but nothing was being shown from Madden, NBA Live or NHL 98. They had displays for them but I'm almost sure the footage was from last years games all over again. I tried out Nascar 98 though and it was a big improvement over Andretti. The cars were beautifully texture mapped, you could make out logos as you drove by the competitors. For me though it probably a rent before a purchase.

Singletrac
Critical Depth (PSX) The visit to these guy smade my day. They were so cool to me. One of the designers talked to me for a good 10 minutes. He told me a whole slew of interesting things. I hope he doesn't get in trouble for anything I say hear but he didn't tell me not to repeat any of it so here goes. First the game. Critical Depth looks pretty cool. It is essentially Twisted Metal with submarines and several gameplay enhancements. You can play single or two player modes of Hide and Seek, Capture the Flag and Tag. There are special weapons like in TM2 and a number of other gameplay enhancements. The graphics are good but not spectacular. The developer said that he was someone depressed by the amazing graphics that the track based racing games put out because people expect TM2 and Critical Depth to match them not understanding that with a game like TM2 you have to render a huge battlefield, not a 2 lane raceway. I told him not to sweat it, that if the gameplay is as good or better then the gameplay for TM2 that gamers would love the game. He also said that they were on a very tight scedule so that they didn't have time to experiment to try and produce better graphics, they just went with what they knew they could do. If its sucessful they'll have more time to improve the graphics in the sequel.

Now to the really cool part. He told me a bunch of stuff that I didn't think he would. (I hope I paraphrase what he told me about the technical stuff correctly. I'm never programmed so I may mess up some of what he said but I think I remember the key points.) He said that the biggest flaw in the Playstation is its inablility to keep track of polygons that aren't on screen. For racing games that's fine but if you are modeling an entire battleground or ocean it presents huge problems. He said that about half of the PSX's power is chewed up in thier games just keeping track of the polygons. He also told me that they completed a PC version of TM2 that is modem ready months ago. Sony has prohibited them from releasing it until now but he thinks that they will be able to put it out by the end of the year. It has been complete for months, they are just waiting for Sony's ok. He also mentioned that they might do a linkable version of Twisted Metal for the Arcades. He made it sound like this wasn't very likely to happen but that they would love it to have unlimited RAM, Huge monitors, big cabinets ect. Don't hold your breath waiting for it though. I asked about TM3 and he said that if Sony asks them to do it they probably would. He thought it would most likely come out for the next Sony system but he didn't have any clue when it was coming out. He said if Sony plans to have it out by the end of 1998 that they would probably get development kits in the next few months. He seemed to think that this was highly unlikely however and that the new system would probably be out in 99 or 2000. Finally I asked him if he could tell me anything about what they were doing for the N64. He laughed. he said that everyone asks them about N64 development but that they couldn't start on any N64 projects for several months at the earliest. He said they hadn't started anything and that there were no firm titles in the works. He said that GT interactive would have input into any N64 development. Pretty cool inside info.

Activision
Apocalypse I had a cool experience in this booth as well. One of the programmers asked me about my company and I told him that I made it up so I could get it. I thought he'd blow me off but instead he asked me then as a hard core gamer what I thought of his game. I told hiim what I truly think. Its what a Contra 3-D should have been. He was really happy with this response and said that's what he had been shooting for. The FMV in this game is excellent. Bruce Willis is rendered perfectly. The gameplay is fun. Its a great shooter. The graphics are top notch. I thought this game would just be a gimmick, sold with Bruce Willis. I'm glad I was wrong. The Story line is cool too. Poe will play the 3rd horseman of the Apocalypse. The programmer said to look for the game in November or December.

Eidos
Tomb Raider 2 (PSX)
Looks Great. Frame Rate is up a little bit. Here are some cool things I saw. Lara breaking through a Big Glass window. Lara climbing up a bookcase and grabbing a chandilier. Very Cool.

Fighting Force (PSX)
Looks like a 3-D Final Fight. It was a little slow but may be alot of fun. Rent before you buy to make sure the frame rate is ok.

Fox Interactive
Aliens vs Predator (PSX and Saturn)
I really wanted to love this game but so far its my biggest disappointment of the show. Only the Marine was playable so its early in development and hopefully it will improve. The Aliens were polygon based and could run along the floor and ceiling but their animation was awful.

Sega
The Net link looks like it will finally get some games. Net link versions of Sega Rally, Virtua On, daytona CCE, Duke Nukem 3-D, and Bomberman were all on display and playable over the link. I couldn't really tell about the latency but others said that it was minimal.

World Series Baseball '98I only played previous versions a few times so I'm not sure I'm real qualified to tell you about the differences but the one thing I noticed was a batting cusor which I don't remeber previous versions having. (I could be completely wrong)

Quake
The surroundings look good but the enemies look pretty bad. There is also alot of slowdown when you encounter the enemy. I though the Duke Nukem port was much smoother. I don't think Quake is going to be Net Linkable, the display didn't mention that it would be. (I never played the Computer verison so you might want to get a second opinion.)

Sony
CART '98Looks really nice. Control is very tight. Too tight for my taste but others will love it. I believe its in Hi-Res.

SpawnI've become a big Spawn Fan thanks to the HBO series and it looks like this game will stay true to its roots. One scene they had on the tape showed Spawn grab his enemy's Arm, place his foot on the guy's chest and rip his arm off. Very gruesome and very true to Spawn's violent roots. I hope this game isn't edited before its release.

Gameday '98I think this game looks and plays very well. I've seen a few people who weren't impressed but I think it looks great. Players animate nicely and there are several very cool touches. I'm pretty sure this will be the Football game I'll buy this year. It'll be out at the beginning of the season and based on Sony's track record I know the Gameplay will be good. QBC '98 won't be out till November and Acclaim Sports has sucked in the past.

Nintendo
I thought I had mentioned the fact that Zelda was there on tape but someone asked if I had seen it. It looks amazing and it is my second most anticipated games (besides Metal Gear Solid). I went back to look at Top Gear Rally again and I was still not very impressed by the frame rate. Multi Racing Championship looked pretty good but niether beats Rage Racer in my book. I think San Fransico Rush is the N64 racing game to get this year. Its not realistic but its a blast.

[ed: day three]

I'll start with the most important stuff the games. Yesterday I just went back and spent most of the day playing games. Here's stuff I found that I had missed before.

Tomb Raider 2
Lara now has flares she can use to light up dark passages. The lighting effects are very cool. She can either walk around with the flare or throw it on the ground so she can light up an area and still use her weapons and such. She can also climb up the side of some brick walls provided there are foot and hand holds.

Ganeday '98
I played this for a while yesterday and I'm very impressed. The running game was a little too easy but that may have just been the difficuulty level it was set on. The Total Control Passing is very intuative. There is no longer a meter like I think there was in 97, you just push the controller in the direction you want to lead the reciever. Additionally the problems with the reciever coughing up the ball after being hit right as he catches it seem to have been cleaned up. Some people apparently think the game looks choppy but I was very impressed with the motion capture in the game. Addtionally the QB looks over the entire field before the ball is snapped. As I was playing a game against New England Drew Bledsoe, the Patriots OB, seeing that I was in goaline on 3rd and one audibled and threw to his reciever for a 24 yard gain. Finally, I forgot to check and see if people were on the sidelines but I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that the game even had TV cameramen on the sidelines. I'm not sure this is the case but if so, kudos to Sony. The game release is set for September 4th so we'll get it on time instead of in December. I think it'll make that ship date easily. So everyone can decide for themselves in just a few months.

San Francisco Rush
Someone asked why its unrealistic. I don't think it was ever meant to be a real driving simulation. Its meant to be a driving game that is fun to play and it excels in this area. The physics of the game aren't very realistic and a true simulation racing game wouldn't have short cuts for you to use to cheat your opponents. All that said the N64 conversion looks excellent and the game is really very enjoyable.

Time Crisis
My favorite Arcade game so I went back and played the PSX conversion extensively yesterday. It is an excellent conversion. The gun is very accurate and the additional stages exclusive ot the PSX version are great. The only real difference in this conversion and the arcade is that when you die and continue you start at the beggining of the mini-stage you are in instead of picking up right where you left off.

Goldeneye
An excellent Doom knockoff. The mission objectives are varied from mission to mission and the graphics, right down to the texture mapped faces of the characters from the movie are top notch. If you shoot a backgroud, the bullethole stays in the background through the rest of the level. The Multiplayer mode is good fun two. You can choose a special weapon per each deathmatch and one shot from this weapon will kill the enemy. I used the golden gun and once you found golden bullets 1 shot from the golden gun killed the enemy. I was pleasantly surprised by this game.

Celebrite Appearences,
Midway had Robin Shou, the guy who plays Liu Lang in the MK movies as well as the most popular celebrity that I saw, Wayne Gretzky. They also had had women dressed in skimpy MK outfits.

Acclaim had Keith Tkachuk from the NHL and Brett Farve from the NFL. I didn't see Farve's appearence so I don't know how popular his appearence was.

Activision had Bruce Willis in town to promote Apocalypse but I don't think he actually made it to the show floor. He may have shown up behind closed doors but I'm not sure.

Konami had a number of sports stars there noone who was really first rate though. Nate Archibald, George Gervin, Mia Hamm and Steve Smith were the main stars.

Givaways
Sony was by far the most generous company there. I got 2 shot glasses, 2 t-shirts, 2 mini-footballs, 2 keychains and numerous drinks, 2 different hats, the first and second issues of the Underground and numerous drinks from the open bar they had. Addtionally they were giving away several big prizes each day like trips (person who had the best time in the new CART 98 game got a trip to orlando), a Jet Ski (for the best time in Jet Moto 2) Sony stuff (a 32 inch TV, a DSS dish and a Playstation for the person who put up the most points is a 3 minute quarter of Gameday 98. The winner scored 32 points in 3 minutes). Finally they will be giving one luck person a $10,000 Sony shopping spree.

Fox Interactive was pretty cool as I got a Simpsons mouse pad, an ID4 t-shirt, and Die-hard trilogy dog tags.

Nintendo wasn't very giving as all they gave out were some stickers, a Starfox 64 pin and a Nintendo Sports magnet. They also had a Starfox 64 contest but I don't remeber if there was a grand prize. They also had a batting cage and a pitching cage but the lines were long so I never tried them.

Sega had even less then Nintendo, only giving out brocures. They had all of their top arcade games for free however which was pretty cool.

Every game magazine was there giving out free copies of everything. I got copies ot Strategy guides for Turok and Soul Blade. The only company not giving out free copies of magazines was Nintendo Power.

Capcom gave out cool Resident Evil eyeballs that can be used as keychains.

Midway gave out pretty cool sunglasses in a very nice San Franciso Rush case to people who won in their 8 player SFR set up.

Awards:

Game of the Show:
Metal Gear Solid.
As far as I'm concerned this game, even though it was unplayable was head and shoulders above the rest of the games there. The attention to detail is abosulutely incredible. As I overheard one Komani rep say, this game will put Komani back on top of the heap of 3rd party development. I've already raved on and on about this game in previous posts so I won't do that here but if you can do yourself a favor and find a copy of the full video presentation of this game that was shown at E3. It you aren't blown away then you should probably stop playing video games because nothing will impress you.

Best Showing by the Big 3.
I think any unbiased observer will agree that Sony had the best showing. They have so many incrediable games coming in every catagory it boggles the mind and it will certainly empty the wallet. They have quality support from first party (their in house sports games, Spawn, Blasto etc), second party support from Psygonsis (3 or 4 unbelievable games) and Single Trac (Jet Moto 2) and more 3rd party support then I can possibly list here. They have the roster of games to beat this year. The arguement that there aren't any quality games doesn't apply because many of these games are better then the stuff being put out for the N64. Nintendo didn't have a bad show but I was disappointed that more 3rd parties haven't signed on even with the cut in the price of Carts. There is still no indication that Capcom is even close to producing anything. The only 2 third parties that are fully on the N64 bandwagon with a bunch of titles that I actually think are going to come out this year are Acclaim and Midway. There is a continued lack of 3-D fighters, with Mace being the best of the bunch not because its that good but because everything else is that bad. A lack of shooters after Starfox. A lack of RPG's, with none due this year. A serious lack of sports games which are very important to the American market, one football game and one hockey game from a company that has only put out terrible sports games (Acclaim), one basketball game that is still real early in development (Konami), and one baseball game that is really disappointing given the amount of time that has been invested in development and that isn't coming out until the end of the year to boot. N64 has several excellent 1st person Doom clones coming but how many of those so you need? The only place where the N64 shines bright through the end of this year is Platformers. Luckily for them this is what sells systems. The other area that should be well covered will be racers. If you want a great variety of AAA games in every Genre you have to get a PSX. If you are satisified with a 3 or 4 AAA titles of which two are really aimed at the 6-10 year old crowd then you'll be happy with an N64. The best of both worlds of course is to get both if you can. If you can only get 1 and you crave choice I think the PSX is the way to go. The N64 has a few titles that couldn't be done graphically on the PSX but the PSX has several titles that can't be done on the Nintendo without losing textures and or FMV (which is getting used in most cases properly as a way to advance the story and not as the basis for the whole game. Anyone who prefers a simple text based 15 second realtime generated scene as a reward for spending days working on a game to several minutes of well done FMV needs to have his head examined). In all either of these two platforms is a good choice but if you like variety and better prices I think PSX is the way to go. The Saturn had an okay show but I think SOA realizes it's over them in this go around and as such are focusing on kepping current owners happy with solid titles as opposed to trying to grow the user base. They really needed a 3D Mario/Crash-like Sonic game or a great conversion of VF3 to help sell saturns but neither materialized. With 3rd parties jumping ship almost daily and Sega screwing over others like Working Designs which have supported them whole heartedly I think they are just going to ride out this wave hand try to get software ready for the launch of the next system. They didn't have a terrible show but besides the Saturn conversion of Last Bronx the must have exclusives were few and far between. They needed a killer show and they didn't have it.

Best N64 game shown: Zelda 64. It looks absolutely killer. If I hadn;t gotten an N64 as a gift this would probably be the game that would make me go get one. Unfortunately for the big N its not coming until 1st quarter 98.

Best Saturn game: Last Bronx. Looks to be a great conversion of the arcade game. Too bad for Sega that the game never got good distribution in the US and is largely unknown here. I think Saturn owners will be very happy with the port.

Best of the Rest(In no particular order)

  • Apocalpse (PSX)
  • G Police (PSX)
  • Tomb Raider 2 (PSX)
  • Bushido Blade (PSX)
  • Time Crisis (PSX)
  • Colony Wars (PSX)
  • Gameday 98 (PSX)
  • QB Club 98 (N64) disclaimerthis was unplayable so I'm not sure if the gameplay will hold up.If it come close to matching the visuals it will be a treat.
  • International Superstar Soccer (N64) Best Soccer Game ever
  • Duke Nukem 3D (Saturn)
  • Final Fanasty 7 (PSX)
  • Resident Evil 2 (PSX) Saturn version wan't shown or even mentioned. Its proably coming but late 98 as opposed to early 98 for PSX version
  • Marvel Super Heroes (Saturn) better than PSX version
  • Critical Depth (PSX) TM2 underwater with even better gameplay
  • San Franciso Rush (N64) Great conversion of arcade game. PSX version was early but looked terrible so far.
  • Rampage World Tour (PSX) A great conversion of a fun arcade game
  • Air Combat 2 (PSX) I though it looked better than Aerofighters assualt
  • Nuclear Strike (PSX) Looks like a nice upgrade to SS
  • Croc (PSX and Saturn) A worthy rival to Mario and B-K
  • Banjo Kazooie (N64) Graphically impressive with many more textures than
  • Mario 64 but aimed at a very young audience
  • F1 98 (PSX) looked great in high res

Disappointments: I was pissed that I couldn't see LucasArts games. Their booth was invitation only. The version of the fighting game they had out only had 2 people playable and the fighting was somewhat clunky. Westwood Studios/Virgin was also off limits so I couldn't see Blade Runner or Powerplay 98. Aliens vs. Predator was early but was very choppy and not very impressive. Tobal 2 isn't getting an American release and that sucks. EA showed little of their 98 line up but Madden is sticking to sprites and not moving to polygons.

Overall a great show. I had a blast and I hope I can go again someday. I hope you guys like the reports. If you did please drop me a line and tell me so. I'd also weclome constructive crticism on stuff you would like to have known more about or stuff you thought I missed.

Thanks again for reading. I hope I gave you a good unbiased account of what went on at E3. Any questions just drop me a line.

Later,
Ajay
