  Sorry, but with the amount of email we are getting, we are not able to help you with individual games. Read the first couple of paragraphs in the Jan 6 update!

• What is the release date for {game}
  The most accurate release dates we have are on the Under Construction page. Release dates are updated so often that we are not too concerned about keeping up to date. We update it a few times a month.

• What games should I buy?
  Sorry, can't help you much there. What is a good game to one person, can be a horrific game for another. Read the reviews of the ones you're thinking of, check the newsgroups etc.

• I read the reviews for {game} and I totally disagree!
  What can we say? Opinions on each and every game differs from person to person. If you disagree, then write your own review and send it to us. (See below for details on writing reviews.)

• {game} was released today. WHERE ARE THE CODES??????
  Give us a break! What is going on out there? Are we no longer able to accept a challenge? We don't receive codes from the publishers, we get them off the net like everyone else does.

• How in THE heck could you give {game} four stars?
  We admit it, you have a point. Too many games have been given four stars. In the coming couple of months, the ratings will be adjusted. With the 2nd generation games coming out, we need to adjust the previous ratings. We're looking into using another, more accurate, ratings system. We will become unpopular with certain publishers, but so be it. If they make poor games, we will certainly not promote them!

• Did you make an E3 video?
  Yes, we did. An all PlayStation video. Click here for ordering info.

• Where are the cheats for {insert game here}!
  Go to the page for the game. If there is a Cheats/Hints link on it (above the table), click on it. If there is no link there, we have no hints for the game. So don't email us about it!

• Can you please send me moves/cheats/screenshots for {insert game here}?
  Sorry, no can do. We answer questions pr. email, but we don't have the capacity to send you stuff. All of the info we have are posted on these pages, just use your browser to save it. And no, NO exceptions!

• I have a screenshot from {igh}! You want it?
  Depends. We believe strongly in being unique on the web. Thus, if the shots are from other sites, we are not interested. If you have captured them yourself, great. (We prefer 320x200, 16M colors, JPG. Higher res. if great capture.) Send it uuencoded, using MIME or by FTP. If only every PS site felt like us. Our captures/designs/icons are showing up all over. What's the point in just duplicating information?

• I want to write a review for a game I have!
  Great! If you want us to post it, follow the following quick guidelines. First of all, if there already are 4 reviews of the game, don't bother unless you are truly gifted and can convince us you are... :-) Your review should be at least 500 words, cover the following categories: Gameplay, graphics, sound/music, lastability. Also, if you want your email address included, please tell us. We assume you don't. And lastly, we can't guarantee your review will be posted.

• Send me a free PS with 10 games and I'll review the games for you!

• What's this about advertising?
  It comes down to these two things:
  
  1. Running our own server costs money!
     Yep, bandwidth isn't free, and we're paying for it.
  2. Running our own server takes time!
     So much, in fact, that one of us has quit his job to work on this page full time!

  So, in order to keep this page going and to improve on it, we need income. We considered several options like going personally bankrupt, membership w/passwords etc. Advertising is really the best and most convenient option both for you and for us.   Woohoo! Aren't you special! That is why we have included several reviews on each game. Opinions differ, people have different tastes in games.

• What is the rating of the games (stars) based on?
  If we have written a review on it, our rating show on the individual game pages. If not, the rating is based on how the games is received on the newsgroups, and the reviews we receive on them.

• How on earth can you rate upcoming games you haven't seen yet?
  Clairvoyance! :-) The ratings are based on the general anticipation of the game, the type of game, who is making it, their history of games. Thus Wipeout II will have a better rating than Twin Goddess II...

• My new PS game won't play on my PC/Mac!
  Wow.... Instead of being rude, let's just say IT WON'T WORK!

• Will Japanese games work on my US PS or vice versa?
  It might work using the SWAP method described in the PS FAQ. However, rumor has it the latest PS ROM revisions won't allow it. (November'95 and later.)

• Will PAL games work on my US NTSC PS or vice versa?
  Same comments as for JAP games, AND they will only be in black and white. UNLESS 1) You have a NTSC capable TV and use the composite or S-Video cable or 2) You are using a RGB cable.

• Street Fighter XVII Killer Edition is out in Europe/Japan, yet you don't list it!
  These pages are for the United States PlayStation market. It won't be listed as released until it is released in the US. We would include info for other continents, but time just won't permit it.

• How often do you update your pages?
  Whenever there is something new to add... Many times a day, to once every so often.

• What is the release date for {igh}?
  Keeping track of release dates is an almost impossible task since they change more often than most people change long-distance carriers... We try our best to keep up-to-date, check the Coming Attractions page. If the game you're looking for is not there, email us. If it is listed, then that is all we know!

• How long does it take for you to answer my email?
  If your questions aren't covered by this FAQ, expect an answer in anywhere from one day to a few days. (It hasn't always been so in the past, but we promise to do better in 96!)

• How can I best view your pages?
  These pages are Netscape enhanced, if you will. If your browser does not support tables, some of our pages will be seriously messed up. Please use more than 256 colors (32K+) and run in as high a resolution as you can (1024x768). (Last time we checked, 80%+ of those visiting were using Netscape.)

• What is your relationship with Sony?
  We're thinking about buying them.... ;-) We've visited SCEA several times, they seem to like what we do. And we are REALLY impressed by the people working there, they know what they're doing. (Relax, we will be getting RPG's...)

• When playing linked games, do we need two copies of each game?
  Yes, one copy in each PS. (And you have to use the Sony cable.)

• What is the S-Video cable good for?
  It provides a better picture and stereo sound if your TV supports it. (Your TV must have a S-Video In connector.) Compared to RF and even Composite, it is really worth it! Most stores don't have it, but you can order it from Sony at 1-800-488-7669. ($29.99 + shipping and applicable tax.)
