    LAS VEGAS, NV - October 23, 1997 - Westwood Studios, the company behind the blockbuster Command & Conquer universe of games, today revealed the enhanced features of Command & Conquer Red Alert for the Sony PlayStation. Red Alert is Westwood?s second real-time combat strategy game developed for the PlayStation, following the successful release of Command & Conquer in March.
    Red Alert features 28 Allied and Soviet missions with over 30 units and structures to choose from. The PlayStation version contains several new features including a newly designed interface, enhanced graphics and special effects, smooth scrolling, larger maps, compatibility with the PlayStation mouse and link cable, and a "skirmish mode" allowing gamers to play against up to three computer-controlled opponents.
