Yikes! I haven’t updated Webmasters Corner since December of 1997... What am I thinking! Well, people, what can I say. Sorry! I’ve received a lot of email over the last few months complaining about the lack of updates to my page. I’m not dead, nor do I have some lethal disease. So what happened? Life, really. Anyone who’s been to college probably go through the same thing... You can’t wait to get out of school, get on with your life, no more tests or grades. Then suddenly, you’re working and wish you were back in school. No longer can you go easy on assignments, or ignore stuff you’re not really interested in... 12 hour days at work, four children and a house I need to work on don’t leave much time for the Internet. Anyways, enough whining...
Things are still happening in the PlayStation world! $129 for the box with a Dual Shock isn’t too bad! I paid $299 for mine... Goodness, that is more than three years ago. And my PlayStation is still running. (Of course, it is my 3rd PS, the first two died within 48 hours of each other at launch.) I’m continually amazed what Sony and developers are able to squeeze out of the little grey box. I couldn’t believe the lighting effects in Forsaken. Excellent. Still, the two titles which I’ve played most over the last few months are Tekken 3 and Gran Turismo. And of course, Wipeout XL. I can’t be cured, I still consider Wipeout XL the best PlayStation game. Kudos to Psygnosis.
I’ll post these commentaries more often in the future, I’ve spent way too little time lately updating my pages. Apologies extended to all my readers. I really hate to go to sites that are never updated, and now I’m guilty as charged. I repent of my sins and promise to come clean. Coming up are thoughts on the next PlayStation, the Dreamcast, the PC, Project X, DVD’s etc. First of all I need to update the rest of my pages to reflect the latest releases.
If you have reviews of games released feel free to forward them to me, and I’ll post them as soon possible. The public deserves to know!
