FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

WarHawk is an arcade-style air-to-air and air-to-ground combat game that incorporates stunning real-time 3-D flight simulation and remarkable graphic detail to give players superior control of a futuristic assault aircraft. With the ability to maneuver in a 360-degree environment, WarHawk is a highly realistic flight game. In fact, the development of the title is being done by SingleTrac Entertainment Technologies, a talented new team that has previously designed simulators for NASA and the defense ind ustry.

"WarHawk is a free-flying arcade action shooter," said Kelly Flock, president, Sony Imagesoft. "The aircraft allows the player to hover, do loops, barrel-rolls and even fly backward as they hunt targets in a hostile 3-D environment. WarH awk's aircraft could be compared to a very advanced version of today's Harrier jet -- like the one Arnold Schwarzenegger flew in True Lies."

WarHawk features six missions of air-to-air and air-to-ground action, multiple solves and attack strategies, hidden zones and increasing levels of difficulty. Landscapes and enemy targets transform from the real to the unreal as each mission escalates t o the final battle. To survive, the player has to defeat some of the most powerful and realistic opponents ever seen in an air combat game; from desert encampments armed with anti-aircraft guns and high speed tanks, to an incredibly rendered 3-D cany on complete with armored fortifications.

WarHawk is scheduled to ship in the fourth quarter of 1995 for the Sony PlayStation, with a CD-ROM version for IBM-compatibles scheduled to ship before Christmas.
