This is a sim shooter, and it lives by its name.

Ya get to fly some of the fastest jets known in history, like F14
tomcat, mig-29, mirage 2000, etc.

The game suuports the Sony Analog Joystick!

Ya have 12 missions, and like the manual says, none are a piece of
cake! Missions consist of: Shoot down the stolen F-16, protect the vip
aircraft, Defend the weapons factory, Destroy the enemy fleet and
safeguard the royal family, destroy the tanks and mobile missile
launchers, etc.

Luckily there are three levels of difficulty, Easy, normal, or Hard.

Ya can save and load games

Ya have six fighters to choose from, each have their own specialty, so
choosing your fighter becomes strategic. Ya get to know the fighters
hardware and personality through training missions.

You have a number of missiles for wich ya must understand their
capabilties and what they can do to your opponent. Also, your fighters
are equipped with missile counter-measures like flares, and chaffs to
confuse ground-to-air missiles, etc. The computer will alert ya, just
like the real fighters do! When counter-measures are exhausted, fancy
flying and manuevers will hopefully dodge the coming missile.

The game play mechanics vary through the stages. Bogey Dead 6 is like
Warhawk on steroids, except it has more strategy involved when
approaching your enemies on ground and air. Attack angles become
crucial to success when scouting for the enemy and ground convoys.
Air-speed and slow-down must be used to get out of jams in the air as
there are various enemies luring in the air to get your attention.
Sometimes getting up close to your opponent, say like a MIG 29, your
best shot is by getting close enough to see the flame from the enemy's
jet engine, and release your missile. Thus, this game has a nice blend
and combination of shooting and strategy!!!

There's a flight cam, to your right, situated below the heads-up
display, it shows important views, for example: bandits on your tail,
incomming missiles, and totally rad, Explosion close-ups when ya score
a hit.

The Graphics on this game are hip, sleak, and by far the best from any
shooter, of course except for Warhawk ;-)Everything is detailed down to
the last enemy. Amazingly I saw no pop-ups, pixilation, or slow-down.
The mountains have a certain mist to their visuals, and renders the
background with beautiful sceneries.

I have played this game only a few times, so I really can't go over in
fine detail, but thus far, this game Rocks. Don't miss it, you'll have
fun with this new title!
