Carnage Heart
Review from the Net

                            Carnage Heart
                       Review by Bill Bechtold

Carnage heart breaks the trend of action Mech games by making a VERY
challenging simulation. This game is HARD! The game comes with a second
disc just to try to explain this VERY complex game! It will not intrest
everyone, but to those who like strategy game and programming, this game
is a BLAST!

On to the detail review:

Graphics: 9.0/10

The graphic are very good, but not stunning. There are no ground breaking
features. There is very good lighting especially in the battle scenes
when a large explosive goes off, a glow is given off-Cool!

Sound: 8.5/10

Good soundtrack. The game sounds are good, but nothing spectacular. I
would like to here similar noises to Robo-Pit when a mech moves, etc.
Basicly the sound is good, has a few flaws, but nothing to take away from
the fun!

Control: 9/10

Well, control is not a big factor in this game, because you don't control
the mechs (atleast with the d-pad.) You use a point-and-click method to
form programs. This is fairly simple, but it takes a LONG time to create
a program that actually works.

Gameplay: 9.9/10

Once you get going it is impossible to stop! I keep thinking of new
features to add to my programs. The one feature I wish the game had was a
tournament mode similar to Robo-Pit. If it had this AND the scenario
mode, this game would be that much more fun. I also wish it was possible
to save a master program to the card, and to be able to use it any game by
a cut-and-paste method for the mechs.

Overall: 9.5/10

I refuse to give out perfect scores, but IMHO, this game really did
live up to all of its hype and surpasses them. It offers countless
options in both mechs and programs. The odds of you and your friend
making a similar mech is almost 0.00% I can't wit until my friends and I
start pitting our mechs against each other. It will be a blast to see
which tactics work best. IMHO, go buy this game, and NOW! If you don't
like the pace of a slow strategy game that takes some serious time just to
understand, skip it. This game takes some time, but is worth EVERY
minute!
