ESPN Extreme Games
Review from the Net
Hi folks (my headache is starting to go away). I checked out the full
version of ESPN EXTREME tonight. I'm not sure what others think - but
personally, I'm blown away by this product. Yes, it will remind you
very much of Road Rash - instead of course, you can choose a bicycle,
roller-blades, and two other sets of "wheels". You race down 5
different , LONG AS HECK courses - each one more drop-dead amazing than
the last. You can punch and kick opponents and watch them spin out - or
lose control of their bike! You can run over chickens, crash into
barriers (or jump over 'em), race through tunnels (accompanyied by
echoed sound effects), knock over statues in South America - jump over
cable cars (moving) in San Francisco, find a secret path to Ghost Town
in Utah - and many, MANY other features. As you ride through special
gates, you earn more money - that way you can upgrade your bike,
skates, etc... The whole package is well put together, and the 3D is
graphics/scenery is nothing short of brilliant! I haven't tried the
2-player option yet.
