Jet Moto
PlayStation Review from the Net

Got this game tonight. It rocks!!
It's a new racing game by SingleTrac, the makers of Warhawk and Twisted
Metal. You race crafts that are very similar to Return of the Jedi
Speeder Bikes.

Graphics: 8/10
The detail is very well-done, but there are some glitches that become
noticeable every once in a while. You'll be having so much fun you won't
be bothered.

Animation: 9/10
The animation of the characters riding the "Jet Motos" is smooth. Sometimes
when you're getting passed by about 10 bikes at once things get choppy,
but no slow-down so far. The crashes, where you fly off your "moto" are
a total blast. You'll laugh.

Control: 10/10
It takes some getting used to, but once you do it seems natural. In
addition to steering, you have a magneto-grappler to help on the tight
turns. Also, you can use L1 and R1 for tighter turns and L2 and R2 for
rolls. Lots of intricacies will make for lots of styles of racing.

2-Player Mode: 9/10
Lots and lots of fun! The only gripe is that you can only race your human
opponent. Maybe there's a code to race other folks.

Sound: 9/10 Music: 10/10
One of the first games in a long time where the music matches the atmoshpere
perfectly. The sound is also very good.

Fun: 10/10
At this very early point, I'd say:
This is the best racer for the PSX to come out since the original Wipeout.
Wipeout 2 is fun and all, but without split-screen 2-player mode, it can't
match this game.

A warning to you quick-gratification types: this game is extremely difficult
to get used to at first. It will take some time before you will be able to
control your craft to your satisfaction. I still can't, but I'm improving
with every game.

Wow, and to think half of me wanted to get N64 to try out WaveRacer. I'm
not too concerned about that right now... I'm hopping back on my "Jet Moto."
BTW, where can I get one of these things in real life?

Some tips: on the Blackwater Falls track, turbo right through the plantation
house. DON'T turbo on your way up the dam. You've probably already
learned this, though.
