Hey I bought Off World Interceptor Extreme at Babbages on Sunday.  It is a
really fun game!!!  It has a 2 player mode that my sweetheart loves to play.
Which is really really rare.  Its pretty easy to play.  I like it lots.  Even
after I finished the 'Story' mode I am still playing it.  Good gameplay- in
that even if you aren't very good at video games you can win against people who
are good at video games.  The controls are easy.  

Basically its a driving combat game with monster trucks and guns.  Seeing as
Twisted Metal is coming out soon I thought this purchase might have been a
mistake, but I really really like the game!  The story mode is very very funny
with obnoxious comments from two "Game players" on the FMV.  It makes for a
pretty funny Rocky Horror effect.  

There are good handicapping systems that allow a first time player to have fun
and compete seriously with a veteran player.  

The landscapes are textured bump style maps.  Very hilly and exciting.  The 2
player game area wraps North south and east west so your adversary is never far
away.  There aren't really any Whale type moves.  There is one whaler type
truck/car but if you put it off limits you can have a great game every time you
play.
