After playing  this game for over a day, I've gotten pretty far  ( the 
mansion is now filled with those green guys ). So here's a review.

Graphics-10
Awesome. The characters move so smooth, and the dogs in this game see as 
if they are real.  Shading is done extremely well. The FMV is alright, 
while not exceptional. The CG cinemas are very well done. It's like Alone 
in the Dark on steriods.

Music-9
Great. It creates a nice atmosphere.  The music is especially good later 
in the game.

Sound FX-9.5
The Sound Effects are excellent. From the dogs howling to the crows 
crowing, every effect sounds real and clear.

Voice-8
The voice, though clear and easy to hear, is corny and crappyily done.  
Also, I've noticed the voice messing up later in the game.

Control-9.25
Easy to learn, and easy to master.  It is easy to use items or shoot your 
shotgun.

Gameplay-9.25
The gameplay works almost flawlessly.  There are many items to choose 
from, and many different kinds of weapons.  The puzzles, while easy early 
in the game, get tougher as you go on ( like creating volt-16 ). The only 
downfalls are 3 things-
1. The save system. The big problem is that ink ribbons ( which are used 
to save the game ) are rare and if you use your ink ribbons early on you 
will be in trouble ( so far I've found 8 2-packs of ink ribbons ). You 
also have to bring them to typewriters which are located in only a few 
places.
2. Aiming you weapon. While this may not be a huge problem with slow 
moving and big things such as zombies, when you have to shot crows and 
bees it gets frustrating.
3. The limited amount of items.  You can carry to few items, because at 
some parts in the game you'll want to bring more than you can.

Challenge-9.25
At first ( once you get some ammo and more guns ) the game will be kinda 
hard, but it will get easy. But once you defeat the "brain" of plant 42, 
and you enter the mansion again, things will be tougher. Zombies will 
have been replaced by green reptilian type things, that at point blank 
range can take 4 shotgun shells. And ammo will be even scarcer. 

Overall-9.5
This game is definetely worth purchasing. Other than a few flaws, it is 
one of the best games out for the PS. If you have the money, You should 
pick this one up.
