Resurrection: Rise 2
Review from the Net
Let me be brief: It really, really looks this game was designed for the SNES, then ported up to PSX at the last moment. The rendered characters are kinda fuzzy, w/significant jaggies around their edges, the colors are dull, the backgrounds are muddy static images (ever heard of parallax, guys? What about animation? Arghh!). The music sounds like an SNES sound chip doing mediocre synth guitar. The sound is strangely fuzzy and faded, kind of like SNES KI's music, but c'mon, this is a CD game! There is a combo system in this game, but it will be hard to figure out, as the game moves so damn slow getting in more than a 2-hit would seem to be impossible. I looked for an option to increase game speed, but I don't think there is one. With further play, my opinions may change. I would certainly appreciate it if someone who has found cool things in this game would post . . . So far, I have seen NOTHING 32-bit in this game. It REALLY looks just like an SNES title. Only thing is, KI on SNES blows it away graphically . . . Maybe it gets better? I pray . . . .
