It's a puzzle game similar to Columns.  If that doesn't help, you have 
units made up of 3+ pieces.  Pieces are of a variety of colours, red blue 
green, etc.  You're trying to get pieces of a similar colour close 
together; when enough of them are together, they pop, making room for 
more pieces.  (Very tetrisesqe)  The kicker is that some pieces are 
enclosed in ice.  To release them from ice, you have to pop pieces near 
them, causing them to become normal pieces.  If you like puzzle games, 
this looked like a blast.  Aside from game play, everything looked very 
cute.  There were a selection of characters to choose from (cute girl, 
manly stud, a dog... =), and head-to-head play made it worth getting the 
extra controller. ^_^  I'd say go for it - a good puzzle game is always 
nice to have in addition to fighting this and driving that. =)  Maybe 
someone who's actually played it can help me out here. *grin*
