Hands down the most significant title released for the PlayStation to date. It is even an anniversary title! It is according to my records the 300th PlayStation Game released in the US. Congrats to Sony (and Squaresoft) for a job well done!
This is one of those few titles where all the hype is actually true. It is really that good. Your trek through seamingly endless beautiful scenarios across three CD's will floor you. You've never seen graphics like this in an RPG before. The perfect integration of FMV into the action is breathtaking. The music is great. The spells are spectacular. This game is reason good enough to get a PlayStation if you don't have one already. (Teen rating is mostly for some adult language.)
If you own a PlayStation, you should own this title. (It is even improved over the Japanese version!)
