Since Resident Evil 2 still is months away, Capcom released this title to a) Help us survive the wait (it includes a Resident Evil 2 demo.) and b) To make more money. Resident Evil itself has been slightly altered to add more suspense, but it's hardly worth getting this game for if you have already played Resident Evil to death. Some of Capcom's marketing claimed this game contains uncensored video clips, not seen in the first release. Unfortunately, this is not the case. Still, this is a great game! If you didn't play the first release, get this and you're in for a major treat. (For maximum effect: Play it alone on a windy night with the lights turned off..)
